Countdown to Greenland

It's finally all coming together and in less than a week I fly to London. I'll meet Marcus Waters there and all our equipment and food from NZ. We then fly on to Iceland and eventually Greenland and the town of Angmagssalik. From there (about August 16) we get dropped off by boat on a glacier and start walking. In 1888 knud rasmussen started from the same place with the "the west coast or death"!! Well we won't go quite that far - but we have 32 days of food and fuel so we have to get somewhere before all that runs out. Ilulissat is ther name of the small town we will finish at. From there we'll get in our kayaks and start paddling south along the west coast of Greenland until we arrive at Nuuk some 500km later. Then we come home!! California Bound

It's been a hectic schedule getting all the last minute things done in Christchurch before heading away for 6 months. But its getting cold in CHC and I want to go paddling and ride my bike in the sun. California bound and Otter Bar Lodge for teaching starting May 20. Our Greenland expedition is coming along well and the new website will be up soon. Stay tuned for more on this. the book from Sth georgia will be published for a release this NZ spring. I'll be in the US until August so if anyone has image requirements please drop a line. I have a ton of new stock from around NZ on my last tour as well.
